We want to express our gratitude to primary care physicians throughout the nation for their increased excellence when it comes to recognizing the signs and symptoms of vascular disease. More and more physicians are identifying patients at risk for the disease – or diagnosing them with it. We also want to thank Northwest Florida physicians who have offered their trust in us and referred patients to our care. We view the referring process and subsequent patient treatment as a partnership between our team and yours, and strive to make it as professional and efficient as possible. Referring Patients to Dr. Allmon
We encourage doctors to continue sending patients for screening and/or medical follow up care if they have even minor complaints (such as leg pain) that should be examined thoroughly.
Patients who are at significant risks for vascular disease often have one or more of the following characteristics:
- Anyone over the age of 55-60
- Diabetics
- Smokers
- Patients with high blood pressure and/or high cholesterol
- Family history of atherosclerotic problems and circulatory problems
